Equality Charter School, founded in 2009, is building on its success in grades 6-12 and the launch of Equality Charter Elementary School (ECES) in 2024-25. This year, ECES welcomed scholars in kindergarten and first grade, and in 2025-26, we will add another grade, enrolling scholars in grades K-2. ECES will continue to expand annually, ultimately serving students through grade 5 and establishing Equality Charter School as a continuous K-12 educational experience.

Equality Charter Elementary School is thrilled to continue the search for founding ECES teachers! We are seeking a "can-do," "roll-up-your-sleeves," “above-and-beyond-is-the-norm” team player to take on the exciting role of founding Science Specialty Teacher. As a founding staff member, you must be highly adaptable and comfortable with the realities of opening and growing a new school. Most importantly, founding team members must embody our mission, vision, and values—serving as brand ambassadors for our community and families, role models for our scholars, and accountability partners for one another.

If the expectations outlined above resonate with you, and you’re excited by the Science Specialty Teacher position described below, we can’t wait to receive your application and welcome you to our team!
